Childen who are introduced early to the wonders of the performing arts are inspied to discover their artistic talent. The National Children’s Theatre is is devoted to producing shows for children which have positve effects on childen.
They were established in 1990.They
- present stage adaptations of classics
- they present educational theatre
- children love the well-loved stories, characters and amazing sets and costumes
- theatre workshops and educational programmes
Each Saturday morning children get hands on experience at their theatre workshops which cover all the disciplines of the performing arts and include drama, mime, singing, and stage and TV techniques.
The theatrical arts are presented to the kids in a colourful and vibrant way, teaching them how to perform on stage and devlop communication skills.
The NCT Theatre Workshops are for children 7 to 16 years of age.
